Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and skilled International Behavior Therapist (IBT) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children and individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. The IBT will implement individualized treatment plans, collect behavioral data, and work closely with supervisors, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support meaningful skill development and positive behavior change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs developed by a Behavior Analyst.
  • Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based ABA strategies.
  • Teach communication, social, play, academic, self-help, and daily living skills.
  • Reduce challenging behaviors through positive behavior support strategies.
  • Collect accurate data during therapy sessions and maintain clinical records.
  • Assist with skill assessments and progress monitoring.
  • Follow treatment plans and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) with fidelity.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines.
  • Participate in supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development.
  • Prepare therapy materials and maintain a safe, supportive learning environment.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of International Behavior Therapist (IBT) training or equivalent ABA training.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds.
  • Commitment to ethical and professional conduct.
  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
  • Knowledge of ABA principles and behavior management strategies.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
